This ticket prints no seat number — only a station order. Hualien County’s night is too long for anything else: a hundred straight kilometres from the city bars to Yuli’s stir-fry tables. Ride it like a local train and no stop gets missed.

First stop: Fuxing St
The line opens with the county flagship. 文藝復興音樂酒吧, No. 4-1 Fuxing St — 3,400-plus reviews at 4.9, a scale nothing else in Hualien touches. Live sets, cocktails, an old-house room; past nine on weekends it’s standing-room, so report before eight to sit.
The next service runs to Xingang St, minutes on foot: 京祚串燒居酒屋 (1,400-plus reviews, 4.9) and Ginsman Bar 琴詩酒吧 (560-plus, 4.6). One street covers skewers and whisky — the drinker’s two-stop itinerary.
Second stop: the Zhonghua Rd massage belt
Hand the post-drink body to this road.
五行堂足體養身會館 at No. 12 Zhonghua Rd — 2,200-plus reviews, 4.8. Around the corner at No. 67 Guolian 1st Rd, 老師傅足體養生館 — 2,500-plus, 4.9. And 若水養生館 at No. 332 Heping Rd — 2,700-plus, 4.9, the city’s review king. All three mostly serve past eleven; sixty foot-work minutes run about NT$600–900, posted rates final.
The karaoke branch line stops at No. 82 Guolian 3rd Rd — 享溫馨KTV花蓮店, 590-plus reviews at 4.2, the county’s only chain box house.
Junction: Dongdamen
The night market is this line’s interchange. Stalls light from six, the crowd peaks nine to ten, most run till just before midnight. Queue the famous stalls before seven, then walk ten minutes to Xingang St and rejoin the bar line — the full Dongdamen playbook maps it stall by stall.
Southbound section: honestly signposted
Here the ticket’s print gets smaller, but not vaguer.
Fenglin and Guangfu sleep at dusk. After nine, only the convenience stores glow; these stops are for deep sleep and morning mountains, not nightlife — overnight guests program their own evening. The terminus Yuli, though, keeps its lights on: small bars and stir-fry joints near the station serve past eleven — the Yuli bar piece opened those doors one by one.
Cross-town iron rule: the TRA local is the trunk, last southbound services around nine to ten p.m., timetable final. Miss it after drinking and a designated driver to Ji’an or Xincheng runs NT$300–400, doubling south of Shoufeng. Driving south, the sober driver is named before the engine starts.
Terminus announcement
