Stiff shoulders: find the heavy hands
A week of overtime, a neck that will not turn, calls for acupressure and meridian work, not oils.
Sec. 2 of Wanshou Rd 1315, 正統按摩中心-30年老店, 4.7 stars, 360-plus reviews, phone 03 319 4777. Thirty years in the name, old-school acupressure in the hands, a landline that gets answered the same day. Fuxing 1st Rd 82, 2F, 心豐軒視障專業按摩, 4.8 stars, 145 reviews, traditional meridian work, steady pressure, stairs to the second floor.
Two more old-shop types on the same road: Fuxing 1st Rd 306, 達觀養生館, 130-plus reviews, and Ziqiang South Rd 342, 健生養生館, 49 reviews. Few reviews does not mean bad, it means little information, so ask about the menu on the phone.

Scalp and hair wash: lie down and be washed
Guishan has an unusual density of Vietnamese hair wash, four shops.
Sec. 2 of Wanshou Rd 1195, 舒淇越式洗髮SPA, a perfect score and over 1,250 reviews, the thickest on this shelf, mobile 0908 628 787, by reservation. Same road, No. 839, 金妤頭部養生spa, 4.9 stars, 310-plus reviews, scalp wellness first, also by mobile booking.
Datong Rd 5, LUNA越式養生洗髮｜桃園越式洗髮/龜山越式洗髮｜八德越式洗髮｜采耳 ｜保養眼睛｜ 清粉刺 ｜按摩推薦, a perfect score and over 560 reviews, a long name and a long menu: hair wash, ear cleaning, extractions. Wenqing Rd 363, 心心越式洗髮養生館-林口店, 4.8 stars, 310-plus reviews, on the Linkou side.
A session runs sixty to ninety minutes, going rate NT$600 to 1,000, posted prices rule. This whole shelf is reservation-only; book weekend afternoons a day ahead.
Full body: villa type and Thai
For a private room, an atmosphere, and a willingness to spend NT$2,000 up, two shops.
Wenhua 2nd Rd 67, 慕谷 Villa SPA莊園 龜山 林口店, 4.9 stars, over 2,350 reviews, the most-reviewed in Guishan. Under ten minutes on foot from Airport MRT A8 Chang Gung Memorial Hospital Station. Lane 81 of Wenhua 3rd Rd 1, 8F, 沐函美容spa, a perfect score and over 540 reviews, eighth floor, studio type, mobile booking.
Thai is at Fuxing 1st Rd 328, 璽合泰式spa生活館, 4.4 stars, 220-plus reviews, landline 03 318 3699, ninety minutes NT$1,200 to 1,800. Lane 37 of Wenhua 3rd Rd 13, 欣意泰式按摩, 60 reviews, the backup.
This shelf has the tightest slots. One therapist per ninety-minute session; book Saturday two to six two or three days ahead, weekday mornings are loosest.
Feet: walk in and sit
Wenxing Rd 131, 樂足軒足體養生館(龜山店), 4.7 stars, 430-plus reviews, phone 03 328 3077. The only shop on file in Guishan registered as foot massage: a row of recliners, walk-in waiting, forty minutes to an hour, NT$800 to 1,200.
Just feet, no booking, no stairs: this is the one. If it is full, head into downtown Taoyuan, Sec. 2 of Sanmin Rd 272, 御手足悦按摩養生會館, 3,700-plus reviews, about fifteen minutes by car; the Taoyuan massage overview lists it by district.

The three on Wanshou Rd are not near the MRT; drive, or take a fifteen-minute taxi from downtown Taoyuan, and Wanshou Rd massage walks that road number by number. How the A8 evening connects is in A8 Chang Gung area at night. Massage involves no alcohol and driving home is fine; if you had a drink on Wenhua 2nd Rd before coming, leave the car and call a designated driver.
