Guishan's wellness halls grow with the hospital and the MRT.
Linkou Chang Gung Hospital sits at Fuxing St No. 5; Airport MRT A8 is named for it. The hospital brings shift workers and visiting families, the MRT brings commuters, and the shops grew in between. The Guishan massage list has twenty-odd entries across four stretches, each with its own type.
A8 Chang Gung Hospital: estate spas and beauty spas
Exit onto Wenhua 2nd Rd. Mugu Villa SPA Estate, Guishan-Linkou at No. 67 — 2,300-plus reviews, 4.9 — is Guishan's review ceiling. Estate-style, private rooms, appointments, oil and full-body spa. Two days ahead for weekends, one for weeknights. From NT$1,500 a head; posted prices rule. VIVISPA Linkou Chang Gung, 3F of No. 38-6 (190-plus, 4.8), runs the chain's body-contouring and oil systems. Kuanxinyuan Beauty SPA at Wenhua 3rd Rd No. 379 (160-plus) and Muhan Beauty Spa, 8F of Lane 81 No. 1 (540-plus, five stars), lean beauty — face and body together. Common thread: appointments, closed to new guests after nine, not cheap. Walk-ins rarely get in.
Fuxing 1st Rd: behind the hospital, after work
Toward the hospital, Fuxing 1st Rd swaps spas for traditional halls and Thai. Xinfengxuan Visually-Impaired Professional Massage, 2F of No. 82 (140-plus, 4.8) — acupressure and meridian work by visually impaired therapists, kind prices, the conscience of this stretch. Xihe Thai Spa at No. 328 (220-plus, 4.4), rare Thai for Guishan, 90 minutes up. Daguan Wellness at No. 306 (130-plus), traditional tuina. For sit-down, no-booking foot work, Lezuxuan Foot Wellness Guishan at Wenxing Rd No. 131 (430-plus, 4.7) is the closest thing to a chain foot hall, open to around eleven.
A7 Sports University: one Vietnamese, stop if passing
Xinxin Vietnamese Hair Wash Linkou at Wenqing Rd No. 363 (310-plus, 4.8) — the only listing at A7. Hair wash plus scalp and shoulders, 60–90 minutes. For residents of the A7 estates; others needn't alight.
Wanshou Rd Sec. 2: the old line, off the MRT
No MRT here. Wanshou Rd Sec. 2 is Provincial Highway 1A on the Huilong side, a generation older than A8. Orthodox Massage Center, 30-Year Shop at No. 1315 (360-plus, 4.7) — the name is the résumé, direct hands, no atmosphere. Jinyu Head Wellness Spa at No. 839 (310-plus, 4.9), head and shoulders. Shuqi Vietnamese Hair Wash SPA at No. 1195 (1,250-plus, five stars), the line's most-reviewed. Three shops within five hundred street numbers. From A8 it's a cab transfer that takes longer than driving. Worth it for Guishan and Huilong residents or Highway 1A commuters; if you're at A8 wanting a massage, don't cross half of Guishan for review counts.
How to choose, in this order
Which station you're at: A8 with a booking, Wenhua 2nd; after work wanting deeper work, Fuxing 1st; living in Huilong, Wanshou. Then type: oil spas and Vietnamese hair-wash stop after nine, traditional and foot halls run to around eleven, late night is foot only. Then price: estate spas from NT$1,500, Thai 90 minutes around NT$1,200, foot NT$500–800, as posted.
Guishan-Linkou massage adds the Linkou Wenhua Rd corridor; the Taoyuan massage guide covers citywide price bands. For food after, A8 at night connects. Drivers to A8: mall parking is easy, and wobbly legs after a session are normal — sit five minutes first.
