NEW TAIPEI NIGHTLIFE — FIELD GUIDES
Practical guides to New Taipei nightlife: bars, KTV, late-night eats and massage — routes, budgets and local know-how.
01 Banqiao Massage and SPA Guide: Sorted by Where You Already Are, Not by Stars 2026-10-22 — Banqiao — Banqiao lists forty-two massage and SPA houses, the densest district in New Taipei — from a mall-floor shop inside the station complex at Xianmin Blvd Sec. 2 No. 7 to one-therapist studios on Lane 8, Datong St that list only a mobile number. No ranking here. The forty-two are split into five blocks: the Xinban district, Fuzhong and Ximen Street, Jiangzicui along Wenhua Rd Sec. 2, Xinpu along Hansheng E Rd, and Nanya-Puqian, each with addresses, ratings and review counts. Plus how foot, Thai, SPA house and private studio differ on length and price, which block fills on Friday night and which one does not, and how far ahead to book once the northeast monsoon arrives in late October. → 02 Yonghe Massage and SPA Guide: Thirty-Five Houses, Street by Street 2026-10-22 — Yonghe — Yonghe lists thirty-five massage and SPA houses packed into a district you can walk across: six on Fuhe Rd, five on Zhulin Rd, five on Zhongzheng Rd, Thai houses on Dehe and Yongli, two upstairs by MRT Dingxi. Addresses, ratings, review counts, going rates, which types demand a phone call first, what time 'eat then get rubbed' actually means at Lehua, and why Yong'an Market station is registered in Zhonghe. → 03 Banqiao Nightlife: 91 Listings, and the Four Heaviest Numbers Sit on Just Three Roads 2026-10-19 — Banqiao — Banqiao lists 91 venues — 43 izakaya and bistros, 42 massage shops, six KTV. The district's four heaviest review counts are absurdly concentrated: 22,000-plus at 老串角居酒屋, No. 15, Aly. 7, Ln. 182, Sec. 2 Wenhua Rd.; 16,000-plus at 熊本木足體養生會館, No. 45 Minquan Rd.; 6,000-plus at its flagship four doors away; 5,300-plus at 錢櫃板橋店 on Guanqian W. Rd. Read Banqiao by road: three izakaya in one Jiangcui alley, two door numbers of foot work on Minquan Rd., the chain belt on Xianmin Blvd., drinking and massage strung along Sec. 1 Zhongshan Rd., and six KTV of which exactly one holds 4.9. → 04 Yonghe Nightlife: Eight Venues on One Road, and Exactly One KTV in the Whole District 2026-10-19 — Yonghe — Yonghe lists 67 venues — 31 for drinking, 35 massage shops, one KTV. That one matters: the district's only karaoke rooms are at 錢櫃樂華店, No. 129, Sec. 1 Yonghe Rd., so anything else means crossing the bridge or heading into Zhonghe. The drinking column runs the opposite way — Yongzhen Rd. alone holds eight, from 老串角's 4,800-plus reviews at No. 299 down to 30-odd at No. 56. Laid out by road: how Yongzhen, Dehe and Baoping connect, why two of Fuhe Rd.'s six massage shops are run by blind therapists, and where to go when Lehua Night Market starts packing up. → 05 Sanchong Has Exactly Four KTVs: The Thickest Sits at No. 6 Zhengyi N. Rd., the Chain Sits at the Taipei Bridge Head, and the Other Two Aren't What You Think 2026-10-15 — Sanchong — Sanchong lists four KTVs. That won't fill a top-ten list, so this piece takes them one at a time. 摩羯座KTV at No. 6 Zhengyi N. Rd. carries 2,700-plus reviews at 4.6, the thickest of the four. 好樂迪KTV 新北重陽店 at No. 1, Sec. 1 Chongyang Rd. holds 2,600-plus and sits right at the Taipei Bridge head — three minutes by car from the Taipei side. The basement at No. 66, Sec. 1 Ziqiang Rd. is old-school karaoke with 240-plus reviews. And the fourth, on B1 at No. 63, Sec. 4 Chongxin Rd., is filed under KTV but sells massage. Includes which house does which job, why the small hours beat weekday evenings, when to change trains for Banqiao or Xinzhuang, and the right order for night-market supper. → 06 Xindian Lists Zero KTVs: Stop Circling the District — Nine Stops to Banqiao, Eleven to Xinzhuang 2026-10-15 — Xindian — Conclusion first: of the 53 venues listed in Xindian, the KTV count is zero and the Xindian KTV page is empty — not a scraping gap. This piece gives the workable destinations in stop counts. Nine stops north on the Circular line from Dapinglin reaches Banqiao, which lists six, led by 錢櫃板橋店 at No. 6 Guanqian W. Rd. with 5,300-plus reviews. Eleven stops reaches Touqianzhuang for Xinzhuang, where No. 19, Sec. 2 Zhonghua Rd. holds 20,000-plus reviews at 4.9. Four stops south to Jing'an plus one to Nanshijiao reaches the single house on Jingxin St. in Zhonghe; five green-line stops to Guting plus one to Dingxi reaches the single house on Sec. 1 Yonghe Rd. Tamsui isn't worth the ride. Also: which listed Xindian bars and massage houses work as the substitute. → 07 Sanchong Massage and Spa, 45 Listings: Two Thousand-Review Houses on Longmen Rd., Vietnamese Hair Spas on Chongxin Rd., Four Doors in a Row on Zhengyi N. Rd. 2026-10-12 — Sanchong — Sanchong lists 45 massage and spa venues, and reading them by street beats reading them by type. Two foot-work houses on Longmen Rd. — Nos. 237 and 32 — both clear 2,000 reviews. The surprise lead comes from Vietnamese hair spas: No. 114, Sec. 2 Chongxin Rd. at 3,100-plus reviews and No. 168, Sec. 4 at 1,800-plus. On Zhengyi N. Rd., Nos. 189, 192, 322 and 366-2 run in a line, one of them literally named hundred-dollar massage. Plus one blind-therapist studio and one appointment-only house. Doors, phones, ratings, review counts, and how the three MRT stations split the district. → 08 Xindian Massage and Spa, 35 Listings: 18 Are Spa Houses, Only Five Do Foot Work, Thai Registers Zero 2026-10-12 — Xindian — Xindian lists 35 massage and spa venues with a structure unlike any other New Taipei district — 18 spa houses make up more than half, foot work is down to five, and not one venue is registered as Thai. The top five review counts are all spa or house format, led by 2F, No. 116 Zhongzheng Rd. at over a thousand. Nine listings line Beixin Rd. alongside three MRT stations, and the blind-therapist flagship sits on B1 of the same street address as Dapinglin Station. Doors, phones, ratings — plus the fact that the 明易 chain started at No. 248 Guangming St. → 09 Sanchong Nightlife Guide: Three MRT Stations, Five Road Segments, and Which One Handles Drinking, Singing, Massage or Supper 2026-10-08 — Sanchong — Sanchong has 76 shops on file: 45 massage houses, 27 izakayas and bistros, 4 karaoke rooms, no clubs. This guide indexes by house number, not by hour. Taipei Bridge Station covers Chongxin Rd Sec 2, Cailiao Station picks up Sec 3 and 4, and Sanchong Station leans on Zhengyi N Rd and Ziqiang Rd. Chongyang Rd Sec 3 No. 103 holds the district's most-reviewed shop at over 5,000; Longmen Rd Nos. 31 and 32 put skewers and foot massage across the street from each other. Parking, last train and getting home included. → 10 Xindian Nightlife Guide: Read It by the Clock, 6:30pm to Midnight, What's Left at Each Hour 2026-10-08 — Xindian — Xindian nightlife runs on 53 shops on file, 23 fewer than Sanchong one bridge away, with zero karaoke rooms. This guide reads by the clock: 6:30 to 8 is the after-work stretch on Beixin Rd Sec 3, 8 to 10 shifts to Zhongxing Rd and Ankang Rd Sec 2, Bitan's swan boats stop around nine and the waterfront runs tourist prices, and after ten the only category with real volume is the 35 massage houses. Last train, parking rates and why not to drive the Beiyi Rd climb. → 11 Luzhou KTV, Honestly: The Local List Is Empty, So Here's Your Route Across the River 2026-10-05 — Luzhou — The hard truth about singing in Luzhou first: among the fifty-one Luzhou venues on this site's registry, compliant chain KTVs number zero — the lanes off Sanmin Road and Desheng Street hold only small community karaoke rooms. This piece lays out the substitute route: fifteen minutes on the Xinlu Line to Sanchong, where Capricorn KTV at Zhengyi North Rd 6 carries 2,700-plus reviews at 4.6; Holiday KTV Chongyang at Sec. 1, Chongyang Rd 1 is the chain fallback; for a party of ten or more, ride on to Xinzhuang for Cashbox Party KTV at Sec. 2, Zhonghua Rd 19, 20,000-plus reviews at 4.9.
